In fact, the weather set a perfect mood to help the readers crack open their journals and spill their guts. The reading was held at Magnet in the Castro on February 10. Besides scheduled readers, the event was also an open mic, which opened the floor to anyone brave enough to confess. Topics ranged from embarrassing (first crushes) to serious (coping with mental health) to inspiring (marching on Washington).
