Writing Groups

GuyWriters' writing groups are a helpful and lively way to improve your craft as a writer by generating new writing, sharing your work, receiving constructive feedback, attending literary readings and talking with professional writers.

GuyWriters currently hosts three writing groups that meet monthly: one each for poets, prose writers and playwrights.

Poets are now meeting every second and fourth Tuesday of the month under the direction of Jay Siegel, a published poet and poetry contest winner who organizes GuyWriters' quarterly poetry open mic at Books Inc. in the Castro.
